This robust portable dehumidifier is ideal for drying rooms following construction work, decorating work, leaks and floods. It is built to very high standards, with a tough steel chassis and rotomoulded housing, giving it the durability for site use.
This refrigerant dehumidifier works using a compressor and refrigerant gas to cool a set of coils. The internal fan draws air into the machine and passes it over the cold coils. Moisture in the air condenses on the coils, and the dry air is vented back out into the space.
This unit has automatic condensate pump-out, so the water removed from the air is automatically pumped out of the machine and down a drain using a hose. This means that the dehumidifier can be left to run continuously, without the need to keep emptying a water collection tank.
It also has easy to use controls and an an internal humidistat that allows you to set a required humidity within the space. The dehumidifier will switch itself on and off as required in order to reach and maintain the set humidity level. This compressor dehumidifier has an excellent operating temperature range, from 1-38 °C. It can operate effectively in colder spaces where other refrigerant dehumidifiers often struggle.
This dehumidifier is a dual voltage unit, so it can be powered either with a 110v or 240v power supply. You can select the voltage you require using the dropdown menu above. 240v is for use with a standard domestic plug socket. 110v is for site use with a transformer.
